Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a runner to run without being tired by showing beautiful domestic and foreign running cources and the like on a television receiver.
CONSTITUTION: A television reciver 1 shows images to a runner 14. A CPU 5 of the control portion measures a running distance upon each input of the step signal from a step detecting means 24, indicates the total sum of the running distance and computes as well as indicates a running speed on the television receiver 1. A reproduced speed signal in response to the running speed is sent to a VTR 3 through a DA transducer 6. Thereby, the tape for the VTR 3 is fed at a speed proportional to the running speed of the runner 14, and the CPU 5 receives a synchronized pulse in response to the running speed from a synchronized pulse detector 7 and controls gates 8, 9, and thus, sends an image signal from the VTR 3 to one of CCD analog memories 10, 11 which is not under refreshing. Switching of the memories 10, 11 is effected upon each detection of a vertically synchronized signal by the CPU 5 from the output signal of the VTR 3 through the detector 7.
