Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve anti-corrosive performance of joint portion by threading a tubular member of anti-corrosive material into the internal thread of pipe joint after inserting fixedly it from the end of the pipe and then working it with screw cutting work.
CONSTITUTION: A tubular member 1 of hard vinyl chloride has a steel pipe 3 which is lined on the inner surface with vinyl chloride and a collar 2 with same diameter. After adhesive 5 is applied on the outer tube surface 4 contacting internally the lining steel pipe 3, this collar 2 is fixedly press fitted in the inner lining layer 8 of the steel pipe 3. After completion of fixed adhesion the steel pipe 3 and collar 2 are tapered, threaded and screwed into a resin coating pipe joint 7. According to this method anticorrosive performance of the pipe and pipe joint is substantially improved.
