Abstract
PURPOSE: To make combustion through the process in which liquid fuel and liquid or vapour water for decreasing NOx are contacted with the head section wall face of a combustor, gasified by heating said wall face with an appropriate means, mixed sufficiently, and supplied with a sufficient quantity of air.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel and water or steam for devcreasing NOx are jetted through a nozzle 201 so as to contact with the head section wall face 207 of a combustor 202. In the meanwhile, a required quantity of primary air is supplied through the primary swirler 203 provided around said nozzle 201 to reduce in thickness the film 204 formed of fuel and water on siad head section wall face 207 of said combustor 202. Further, the secondary air required for combustion is supplied through the secondary swirler 205 provided at the combustor section placed on the lower-course side of the spot where fuel and water contacted with said head section wall face 207. Further, said head section wall face 207 of said combustor 202 is heated by an appropriate means 208 such as combustion waste gas for example to evaporate fuel and water.
