Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent deposition of dust, etc. by covering a calibration light source with a cylindrical cover as well as to enable accurate calibration to be performed by automatically exposing the calibration light source and setting calibratable state at the time of calibration.
CONSTITUTION: A circular cylindrical sliding shaft 4 is slidably supported to the cylindrical housing 2 fixed to a table. The sliding shaft 4 consists of a large diameter part 4a and a small diameter part 4b. A recess 6 for inserting a thermo-photoluminescence dosimeter element 5 and a hole 7 for leading the thermo-photoluminescence generated from the element 5 to the outside are formed on the large diameter part 4a. A calibration light source 8 is contained in the small diameter part 4b. A cylindrical cover 16 covering the calibration light source 8 is slidably provided to the small diameter part 4b to prevent deposition of dust, etc. on the calibration light source. When a gripe 11 is pulled in the measurement state, the sliding shaft 4 moves forward and the cover 16 also moves forward, but the collar 16a of the cover 16 abuts against the end face of a housing 2, then the cover 16 stops moving. Further when the sliding shaft 4 is moved forward, a ring 13 abuts against the collar 16a of the cover and stops moving, then the calibration light source 8 goes out from the cover 16 and arrives at the measurement position.
