Abstract
PURPOSE: To promote the load variation characteristic in a light load and to maintain the stability of an electric source system by setting the oscillating wave form of a reference oscillator to enlarge the changing rate of pulse width as the pulse width is lessened.
CONSTITUTION: A chopping wave oscillator is composed of elements 17W19 encircled by alternate long and short dash lines and provided with reference resistances 14 and 15 and an oscillating reference condenser 16 to set oscillating frequencies, voltage dividing resistances 30 and 31 to set voltages to change the slant of an oscillating wave form, and a voltage comparator 32 to compare outputs between the oscillator and an error amplifier for forming a pulse width. In this construction, the slant-changing level of an oscillating wave form can be optionally set by divided voltages of resistances 30 and 31 in the range between the upper and the lower limit voltage of the oscillating wave form, and the slanting rate of the wave form, that is, a conversion gain can be set optionally. Thus, the load variation in a light load can be reduced, and the stability of an electric source system can be maintained by the gain limitation above a medium load.
