Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a deformation of a seal cover, by locating a tapered space between an inside diameter of the seal cover and an outside diameter of an outer tube. CONSTITUTION:A thin seal cover 12 is inserted into an outside diameter of an outer tube 1 whose partial outside diameter is open from one end, and its one end 12a is united in one body by caulking and the like, and thus, a given tapered space 20 is formed at an area on the side of an opening end between the inside diameter of the seal cover and the outside diameter of the outside tube. The space is wide at the opening end and becomes narrower in proportion as a position becomes more apart in the axial direction and from the opening end. Even if the outer tube itself widens in the radial direction due to its deformation when a transferring torque acts on the outer tube with the seal cover, the outside tube is not brought in a contact with the seal cover because the tapered space 20 is previously provided between the outside tube 11 and the seal cover 12, and thus, the seal cover does not deform.
