Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it easy to hold a sample liquid at a constant temperature and to make effective use of the quantity of light thereby to improve the measuring accuracy by bringing a cell body of Si and transparent plates of glass into direct contact. CONSTITUTION:A cell body 28 is made of a single crystal and is formed with a cell hole 17. The body 28 has its upper side formed with sample inlets 18 and 18' which are connected with pipes 9 and 10. The bottom of the body 28 and the two side of the same in parallel with the drawing sheet are arranged in contact with a constant temperature bath. The inlets 18 and 18' are opened from the both ends of a hole 17 at an inclination upward and have their openings facing inward from the both end faces of the body 28. Glass plates 14 and 14' are jointed to the both end faces of the body 28 in the anode type jointing method of voltage applying type. Thus, the body 28 jointed to the plates 14 and 14' is heated to a high temperature so that an oxide film is formed on the surface of Si.
