Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize immediate detection of abnormal vibration of blade, by determining the bearing acceleration component of the blade vibration frequency from the output product of the bearing acceleration and sine wave signal synchronized with the rotation frequency of the impeller shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Suppose the vibration frequency of the rotary blade is fo when the rotation frequency of the shaft is fR. Then, since the amplitude of the bearing acceleration vibrating at vibration frequency fo±fR is relatively large, the component of the vibration frequency fo may be detected from this acceleration. That is, the bearing acceleration is picked up 10, and amplified 11 by a charge amplifier, then an output a is obtained. Next, the sine wave signal obtained by inputting the output of rotation pulse into a sine converter 13, and the signal a are inputted into a multiplier 14, and an output product c is obtained. Then, through a filter 15 of passing frequency fo, respective acceleration components c1, b1 of vibration frequency fo are obtained. Processing these components in an arithmetic circuit 16, acceleration component d1 of the vibration frequency fo is obtained. Therefore, by monitoring this output d1, abnormality of the blade vibration may be detected.
