Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a sublimable compsn. with superior mechanical strength, commercially advantageous appearance and s wide application range by combining camphane as a carrier with effective substances.
CONSTITUTION: The sublimable compsn. is obtd. by combining camphane, with one or more kinds of effective substances, which is a crystalline hydrocarbon having a terpene skeleton and exhibits characteristics such as nonpoisonous and odorless characters, a high m.p. of 156W156.5°C and chemical stability other than proper sublimability. The effective substances are selected from perfumes such as linalool, insecticidal substances such as phenethyl alcohol, rust inhibiting substances such as morpholine, antiseptics such as thymol, antimolds such as ethyl pyrocarbonate and antioxidants such as hydroquinone. The sublimable compsn. is produced as follows: for example, camphane and effective substances are mixed, melted by heating, poured into a mold, and solidified by cooling.
