Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable one to seal a mixed gas in the covered tube simply by breaking a capsule, in which great deal of gas is sealed, to diffuse the gas in the nuclear fuel element.
CONSTITUTION: Gas which contains specified components is filled in a acapsule 7. The capsule 7 i inserted into the hole 3 of stopper 2, the stopper 2 is welded to the covered tube 1 after welding the brim 8 to the end surface 9 of capsule. A part of the rigid gas-tight room 5 is made thin to form a breaking part 11 of capsule. Since the volume of flexible gas-tight room 6 is reduced by contracting the bellows 14, the gas is pressurized to destroy the breaking part 11, and is diffused in the nuclear fuel element.
