Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a valve starting response at the time of ignition by connecting a heat-sensing resistant transforming body in parallel with a circuit resistance of a thermocouple circuit or a valve control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Gas flows out from an inlet 2 of a valve box 1 to a gas passage 3. By being heated by a flame 11, a thermocouple 8 generates electromotive power and excites an electromagnet 6 to attract a valve body 4 so as to open a passage for gas. If the flame 11 should have gone off for some reason, as the electromotive power of the thermocouple 8 is removed, the electromagnet 6 is demagnitized to let the valve body 4 to close the gas passage. However, since there is a considerable time before the gas passage is closed after the flame 11 is gone off, a resistance 24 is inserted in series symmetrically an inductance L possessed by an electromagnetic coil 7. And further, in order to supplement shortage of electromotive power at the time of starting, a heat-sensing resistant transforming body 25 is connected in parallel so that resistance can be increased by low-resistant heating at a normal temperature.
