CONSTITUTION:With a disc 1, the special reproduction control signal S is recorded in the vertical blanking period of the field before the frame desired to be specially reproduced or the second field of the frame to be specially reproduced. From the signal having been read from the disc 1, the signal S is detected with circuit 34 thru 36 and a circuit 37 is controlled by the signal S, by which the reproduction made is assigned. Hence, the special reproduction mode may be obtained automatically.
