Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of a captive generator by starting it and slowly increasing its power feed while decreasing the power feed from a storage battery when a constant voltage constant frequency power supply is fed from the storage battery.
CONSTITUTION: When the constant voltage constant frequency power supply (CVCF) 2 is fed from the storage battery 6, the voltage of the storage battery 6 decreases, but on the other hand the output voltage of the captive generator 8 slowly increases by the excitation circuit 8G. This permits both the DC voltage which is the output voltage of the captive generator 8 rectified by the rectifier 3 and that of the storage battery 6 to be applied to the CVCF device 2. The power sharing of the captive generator 8 slowly increases after it enters parallel operation.
