Abstract

PURPOSE: Plastic decorative plates wherein a transparent or translucent plastic film is embossed on the one surface and printed in halftone and then solidly on the other flat surface or the embossed surface or laminated with a translucent plate printed in the same manner as above, thereby showing good glittering effect at halftone-printed part only but not at the solidly printed part by both reflecting and transmitting lights.
CONSTITUTION: A plastic film whose one surface is embossed is printed in halftone 2 and then solidly 3 on the other flat surface or the embossed one or laminated with a translucent plate or the like printed in the same manner as above. The lamination is always combined with transparent film and translucent plate or vice versa. Transmitting beams 6 transmit transparent or translucent parts between dotts 2 and are scattered by the embossed surface to develop the glittering effect. In the case of reflected beams, beams are more reflected at the translucent parts between dotts 2 than at the parts of dotts and scattered on the embossed surface 1. Thus, beatiful glittering effect can be developed without any use of glass beads.
