Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The flat type semiconductor stack consists of the flat type thyristor 1, the electrode and water-cooling plate 7, and spacer 3, the spring plate 4, the shaft 5, the nut 6, the water cooling tank 8, and the rubber packing 9. The heat generated at the flat type thyristor 1 conducts to the electrode and water cooling plate 7 but the surface of the electrode and water cooling plates is directly cooled directly by flowing water by being dipped in the water cooling tank 8. Thus, the cooling efficiency is greater because of their great heat exchange areas.
