Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate adjustment by adding the graduation as a standard of sound volume to a bar display in case that the bar display indicating sound volume is performed only at a sound volume adjustment time on a television screen.
CONSTITUTION: Horizontal synchronizing signals are applied from input terminal 1 to produce a saw tooth wave. Displayed control signals are applied from input terminal 3 and are converted to a DC voltage by voltage converter circuit 7. This DC voltage and the saw tooth wave signal are compared with each other in comparator circuit 6, and negative pulses are generated only during the time when the saw tooth wave is smaller than the DC voltage. These negative pulse signals correspond to the length of the bar display. A gradulation generator circuit outputs pulses at regular intervals. The bar display with graduation is performed by graduation width pulse f and pulse e indicating the length of the bar.
