Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an electric cooking table which can efficiently heat at cooking time and also be used as an ordinacry table by raising a heat source to approach it to an article to be heated such as a pot or the like at cooking time and lowering it to locate it at the lower portion of the table at not cooking time.
CONSTITUTION: An electric heating source 13 is arranged opposite to the opening of a table 1 and elevationally movable supported by elevationally moving means composed of a support 4, a kitchen range 6, slide plate 9 or the like. A cover plate 14 can be attached to the opening 3 of the table 1. When the cover plate 14 is attached to the table 1, the table 1 can be used as an ordinary table. When a knob 11 is held to push a slide plate 9 to thereby locate the projection 5 of the support 4 into the longitudinal groove 10b of a U-shaped groove 10, the range 6 is pushed upwardly. When the range 6 is thus pushed upwardly to face with the lower groove 10c of the groove 10 at the projection 5 and the knob 11 is held to pull the slide plate 9 so as to engage the projection 5 with the lower groove 10c, the range 6 makes contact with the back surface of the table to allow the heat source 13 to be located above the opening 3.
