Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove automatically processing scraps or carbon products produced in the processing gap, by giving the processing electrode up-and-down movement and by using its pumping function. CONSTITUTION:Processing pulse voltage is impressed from processing pulse supply 7 to the gap between processing electrode 5 and work 6. The above-mentioned gap is maintained at a fixed distance by servo circuit 8. Servomotor 9 is driven by the output of circuit 8, and by this output, electrode 5 is moved up and down. This up and down movement of the electrode is controlled by control device 11, and according to the condition of heaping of scraps and carbon in the processing gap, the upward movement of electrode 5 is controlled.
