Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent revolution of an auxiliary threshold in the case of a maintenance operation and so on, by locating a device which releases a functional relation of a door opending motion and the threshold at a given time.

CONSTITUTION: A releasing device 17 is located at a rod 8 placed between a sliding mechanism 5 of a door 2 of a cage 1 and an auxiliary threshold 14 which reduces a space between the cage 1 and platfrom in the case of the door 2 opening. A contact 18 and a switch 19 incorporated in an elevator management unit 20 are open, and an electromagnet 17h of the releasing device 17 is deactivated in the event of a usual operation. A male hook part 17f pushed by an activating substance 17i is hooked into a female hook groove 17c, and thus, a upper rod 8b and a lower rod 8a are united in one body. In the case of the door 2 opening, the rod 8 goes up via a link 7 and a lever 6. A transmitting device 13 thus revolves, and the work revolves upward the auxiliary threshold 14. In consequence, a gap between the cage 1 and the platform is reduced. In the case of a maintenance operation, the contact 18 and switch 19 are closed, and the male hook part 17f parts from a movable head 17b. Thus, even if the door 2 opends, the auxiliary threshold 14 can be prevented from revolving upward, and an accient caused by the upward revolution can be protected.
