Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately control a moving body, by providing the moving body with travelling command signals while compensating the signals in response to travelling conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A striker 3, which can be detected by means of a limit switch before a target stop location 4, is mounted onto a girder 2 of a moving body 1 travelling by means of wheels 7. A deceleration pattern applied to the moving body 1 is formed to ensure that deceleration is started from a deceleration command output point 5, and the moving body is further decelerated by a stop output command point 6. Since the wheels 7 slip due to the conditions, etc. of road surfaces and there often happen errors in the measuring distance of the moving body 1 by menas of a pulse encoder, the measuring moving distance of the moving body 1 in a computer is compensated to actual length distance before each command point 5, 6, thus controlling the moving body so that the body can accurately be stopped.
