Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the radioactive ray level on the surface of a shielding plug shardly, by means of setting up a seal mechanism at the interval part between the shielding plug and the inserted equipments.
CONSTITUTION: The inner part of a reactor vessel 1 is filled with Sodium 3 of a coolant, and a core 2 is present therein, and a covered gas 5 is present between Sodium 3 and a shielding plug 4. And the shielding plug 4 penetrates a many kind of inserted equipments 6, and shielding plug mechanisms 8, 10 are set up between the space 7 of the both 4, 6. Namely, a steped structure 8 is set up at the above mentioned space 7, and is so constituted as that a claw 19 of a ring shape set up at the shielding plug of the steped structure and a claw 29 of a ring shape may be engaged, and a purification covered gas blowing piping 10 is set up near on the surface of the shielding plug 4. By such means, the covered gas which is generated in the core, and is activated by neutron is raised by passing through the interval 17, but cannot be passed through an interval 27 by means of being obstructed by the steped structure.
