Abstract
PURPOSE: To burn lean air-fuel mixture sufficiently by spouting exhaust gas or high pressure air in a specific direction in a combustion chamber through a suction valve blast nozzle in a suction stroke to form an intense swirl in the combustion chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Immediately after a cam shaft 17 and a rocker arm 18 move to displace a suction valve 13 to a combustion chamber 4 and open it in a suction stroke, a piston 2 lowers to absorb air through an air cleaner 23. After mixed with fuel in a carbureter 22, the air is absorbed into the combustion chamber 4 through a main suction passage 20a and a suct on port 5. As an intake port 28 made in the rod 13b of a suction valve 13 is communicated with a ringular channel 29 of a valve guide 11, high pressure exhaust gas in an exhaust pipe 21 flows into a sub- suction passage 27 through a flow rate regulation valve 34, passages 33, 31, and 30 and is spouted toward the exhaust valve 14 from a blast nozzle 26 so that mixture may be stirred and effectively burnt.
