Abstract

PURPOSE: To distribute coolant uniformly by arranging water distribution pipe provided for spray nozzles in a plurality of coaxial circles or polygons on the top of fuel assembly.
CONSTITUTION: Pipe 10 is arranged on the inside of shroud head 11 positioned on the top of fuel assembly within the atomic reactor 1. Pipe 10 is arranged coaxially, for example, a plurality of circular pipe materials 10aW10c and the like with the different diameters. Respective pipe materials 10aW10c are joined together with connecting pipe 12. Also, the spray nozzles 13 is provided to face with fuel assembly 2. Coolant leading to pipe materials through the connecting pipe 12 from pump is sprayed toward the fuel assembly 2 located under the spray nozzle 13. This enables to spray uniformly water on entire range of fuel assembly 2.
