Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the sensitivity of the electrophotographic photoreceptor combined with a charge generating material by using the specific compound as a charge transfer material.
CONSTITUTION: A charge generating layer of about 5 μm or under (about 20 μm or under if it exists on the uppermost layer) chiefly containing a charge generating material and a charge transfer layer of about 10 to 100 μm chiefly containing the charge transfer material of the formula (R1 is H, halogen, alkyl of C1W4; R2 is alkyl of C1W4) are laminated on a conductive base. Or this charge transfer material and a binder are dissolved in a suitable solvent and the charge generating material is dispersed into this solution. This dispersion is coated and dried on a conductive base, whereby the photosensitive layer of preferably about 3 to 100 μm is formed.
