Abstract
PURPOSE: The title resin composition having improved workability and prolonged heat stability, obtained by blending a halogen-containing resin with a molten mixture obtained by mixing two specific components in the presence of a zinc, lead, alkali earth metal, or organic tin stabilizer.
CONSTITUTION: A) 100 parts by wt. of a halogen-containing resin is blended with B) 0.05W10 parts by wt., preferably 0.1W3 parts by wt. of a molten mixture obtained by mixing a) one or more polyhydric alcohol having neopentyl-type skelton selected from the group consisting of pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, and tripentaerythritol, and b) an esterification product of a polyhydric alcoho and a fatty acid in the presence of 0.1W15 parts by wt., preferably 0.3W5 parts by wt. of a zince, lead, alkali earth metal, or organic tin stabilizer. Dispersibility and heat stability can be improved.
