Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the output voltage changeable according to the temperature, by means of switching a power source voltage according to the temperature which is detected by a series connected unit, consisting of MOS transistor and resistor, as the temperature sensor.
CONSTITUTION: To a series connected unit, consisting of a MOS transistor TR1 and a resistor 2, is applied a voltage +E, and to an inverter circuit 3, is inputted a voltage across both ends of the resistor 2. If assuming RFET for an ordinary resistance value of TR1 and R for a resistance value of the resistor 2, an input voltage to the inverter circuit 3 comes to be VIN = E x R/(R + RFET). And input-output characteristic of the circuit 3 becomes outputting a high voltage for the input voltage below the prescribed threshold level voltage and a low voltage for above the before said threshold level. Though the input voltage changes by an effect of the temperature, its temperature depending parameter is RFET. According to the above, a switching is operated with a power circuit 4 outputting the prescribed high and low voltage respectively to an output terminal 6, to obtain the reuqired power circuit.
