Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a liquid transporting method for use in a tanker or liquifiedgas carrier ship, in which a compressed gas is supplied under pressure into a pumping pipe connected to a liquid tank provided in a ship, to form a mixture of the compressed gas and liquid in the pumping pipe, and the mixture liquid is pumped up through the pipe, whereby liquid cargo can be unloaded very economically.
