Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an agglomerating agent comprising basic Fe2(SO4)3 having strong agglomerating ability over a wide range of pH region at low cost, by melt ing under heating the starting material principally composed of FeSO4,7H2O, then crushing the mass after solidification with cooling and subjecting the crushed product to heating treatment at 400°C or lower, followed by further crushing into powders.
