Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of reducing NOx and uncombusted matter in combustion treatment, according to which a mixture gas containing combustible matter and O2 to be subjected to combustion is contacted with NH3 or other, and thereafter it is further contacted with O2 at predetermined temperature range, whereby content of uncombusted matter remaining when combustion of the mixture gas is completed can be reduced efficiently, and at the same time, generation of NOx can be further reduced.
