Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect the leading end face of an image guide against dusts or the like, while making it possible to accomplish a clear observation for a long time, by interposing a hood, which has its one end fixed to the peripheral surface of the leading end of the guide, between the guide and an objective lens so as to move the lens thereby to focus the image on the leading end face of the guide.
