Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a succeeding vehicle strongly visualize traveling of the present bicycle by providing a pedal light which automatically lights by moving a pedal on the rear side surface of the pedal. SOLUTION: A storing part 8 with cover which stores a battery 9 as a power source in the rear surface of a pedal 1 is integrally formed and this bicycle is provided with a pedal light 2. The pedal light 2 is provided with 3 LEDs on the rear side of a reflector 3 and a sensor detecting vibration of the pedal 1 is mounted on a base mounted within the pedal 1. Each LED is flickered by a flash circuit according to the operation of the sensor. Thus, a rear-end collision accident prevention effect can be improved by reducing oversights and overlooks because a succeeding vehicle can be made to strongly visualize traveling of the present bicycle.

A bicycle in which a pedal light which is automatically turned on by moving the pedal is provided on a rear side surface of the pedal so that a following vehicle can be strongly recognized as being running. 2. The bicycle according to claim 1, wherein a flashlight configured to blink an LED by the action of a sensor when the pedal is moved is used as the pedal light.
