Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely set the direction of illumination to the direction of photographing by making a holder for illumination and a holder for a camera a camera a mechanism, capable of mutually independently setting the respectively directions. SOLUTION: A holder 32 for illumination and a holder 11 for a camera are separately provided and mutually independently attached to a case 5. For the structure of an illumination part, an illumination lamp 1 is attached to the illumination holder 2. The illumination holder 2 is rotatable, one end of it is attached to the case 5 at a fulcrum part 3 and the other end is rotated for a prescribed amount and fixed to case 5 by a projection 4 for fitting. The case 5 is provided with plural holes 6 for fitting, and by selecting the position of the hole 6 for fitting, the inclination angle of the holder 2 for the illumination is changed. That is, the direction of the lamp 1 for the illumination can be changed. In such a manner, since holder 2 for the illumination and the holder 11 for the camera are provided separately, the illumination direction is set independently of the photographing direction.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional surveillance camera device is disclosed, for example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. Hei 7-147647. This device includes a light-emitting element for illuminating a subject and a fixed imaging element, and both the light-emitting element and the solid-state imaging element are fixed to a circuit board disposed on a base unit. The base is connected to the mounting member via an angle-adjustable joint. It is described that with this configuration, the direction of the light-emitting element and the solid-state imaging element can be simultaneously directed in a desired direction only by adjusting the angle of the base portion.

The above prior art is for changing the direction of the entire monitoring camera, and the direction of photographing (the direction of the solid-state image sensor) and the direction of illumination (the direction of the light emitting element) are set first. The relationship has been fixed. For this reason, the usability is poor, and it has not been possible to cope with customer requests such as "I want to illuminate the front of the shooting range" or "I want to illuminate far away" depending on the shooting conditions. An object of the present invention is to provide a surveillance camera with an illumination function that can freely set the direction of illumination with respect to the direction of shooting.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an external plan view of a surveillance camera with an illumination function of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an external side view thereof. The camera unit and the illumination unit are housed in a cylindrical case 5 and the front parts 12, 1 thereof.
Reference numeral 3 is made of a transparent material, through which photography and illumination are performed. 3 and 4 relate to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is an internal plan view, and FIG. 4 is an internal side view. An illumination lamp 1 and an illumination holder 2 are provided inside the surveillance camera having an illumination function.
And a camera unit including a lens 9, an imaging unit 10, and a camera holder 11. The illumination holder 2 and the camera holder 11 are provided separately, and are attached to the case 5 independently of each other. Particularly, in the structure of the lighting unit, the lighting lamp 1 is attached to the lighting holder 2. In addition, as a lighting lamp, a light emitting LED or the like can be used in addition to a normal bulb, a fluorescent lamp, and the like. The illumination holder 2 is rotatable, one end of which is attached to the case 5 at the fulcrum 3, and the other end is rotated by a predetermined amount and fixed to the case 5 by the fitting projection 4. The case 5 is provided with a plurality of fitting holes 6. This fitting hole 6
By selecting the position, the inclination angle of the illumination holder 2 can be changed. That is, the direction of the illumination lamp 1 can be changed. As described above, in this embodiment, since the illumination holder 2 is provided separately from the camera holder 11, the illumination direction can be set independently of the photographing direction. 5 to 8 relate to a second embodiment of the monitoring camera with an illumination function according to the present invention. FIG. 5 is an internal plan view, FIG. 6 is an internal side view, and FIG. 7 is a front view. FIG. 8 shows a case where the inclination angle of the illumination holder 2 of the illumination unit is changed in the internal side view of FIG. Also in this second embodiment, the illumination holder 2
Is rotatable independently of the camera holder 11. One end of the illumination holder 2 is attached to the case 5 at the fulcrum portion 3, and the other end is in contact with the movable portion 7 attached to the case 5, whereby the amount of rotation is regulated. The position of the movable part 7 is adjusted by an adjusting screw 8 that can be adjusted from outside the case 5. That is, the inclination angle of the illumination holder 2 can be set according to the degree of tightening of the adjusting screw 8, so that the direction of the illumination lamp 1 can be changed. According to this second embodiment,
In addition to the effects of the first embodiment, there is a feature that the direction of the illumination lamp 1 can be changed externally and continuously.
