物・自転車等の特殊形状の荷物でもルーフ上への積み降
しが極めてし易くして安全であると共に、その荷物台車
を荷物の形状・サイズに対応させることによって、積載
荷物の安定性が向上し荷物積載の自動車走行の安全性が
確保できる。そして、その荷物台車は自動車リヤポジシ
ョンの垂直レール部へ縦姿勢にしてセットするので、自
動車ルーフ上へ荷物を積み降しするための自動車後方ス
ペースが狭小で足りると共に、その荷物台車は、荷物不
積載時には垂直レール部から外してトランク等へ収納で
きるので、空の荷物台車を後体後部にくっつけたりルー
フ上に突設して走行する必要がなく、荷物不積載時走行
が円滑軽快にして安全になる。
