Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase propelling force by providing a recess of a very small depth for the respective front and rear surfaces of a fin part consisting of a flexible material by proper arrangement so as to smooth the flowing of water, which the front/rear surfaces of the fin part are respectively in contact with, with the movement of legs at the time of swimming. SOLUTION: The fin for swimming is constituted of flexible materials such as rubber, synthetic resin and the longitudinal direction of an elliptic recess (b) of a very small depth nearly in the state of a latticed pattern, which are provided with proper shapes and intervals, is provided in parallel with a shaft line along the longitudinal direction of the fin part 12 on the respective front and rear surfaces of the part 12 added with a fitting part 11 for fitting the legs of a swimmer on a surface. By this constitution, when water flowing toward a toe from a heel part passes through the recess (b) from the rear surface side of the part 12 at the time of swimming, water is pressed into the recess (b) by a continuos water flow to raise pressure at the part of the recess (b) and flows in the state of a straight line toward the toe in the state of increasing a flowing speed. In addition, the flowing of water in a horizontal direction at the part 12 is prevented to accelerate toward the toes to increase propelling force.

In the case of the swimming fin as described above, water is kicked with the intention of obtaining propulsion.
Although the fin portion 1 in FIG. 7 is extruded in the direction of arrow d (longitudinal direction), the extruded water does not extrude in the direction of arrow d but flows in the direction of arrow e (sideways direction). Therefore, an efficient propulsion force cannot be obtained, and at the same time, the above-mentioned operation during swimming causes the fins to move sideways for a swimmer having poor leg strength, so that the water in the lateral direction described above is generated. The efficiency of propulsion combined with the flow of

[Object] The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks. The purpose of the present invention is to smoothly control the flow of water in contact with the front and back surfaces of the fin portion in accordance with the movement of the feet during swimming. Further, it is an object of the present invention to provide a swimming fin capable of expecting an increase in propulsive force without feeling the resistance from water to a swimmer having poor leg strength.

In the present invention, for example, when water flowing toward the toe from the heel toward the toe with the back surface of the fin portion during swimming passes through the depression, the water is pushed into the depression by the subsequent continuous flow of water. As a result, the pressure at the depression increases, and the fluid flows linearly toward the toe with the flow velocity increased (see FIG. 4). Thus, with the presence of the appropriate number of depressions and the movement of the swimmer's foot, the heel There is a continuous and linear flow from the part to the toe. In addition, the flow of water in the fin portion in the lateral direction is also prevented, and the speed is gradually increased toward the toe, so that the propulsive force is increased. The same effect as in the case of the back surface is obtained on the surface of the fin portion. Therefore, the efficiency of the propulsion force is improved as compared with the case of using the conventional fins for swimming, and quick swimming can be performed with less leg force than the conventional fins.

In the conventional swimming fin, the movement of the foot results in agitation of the water, which causes turbulence to occur in the fin. According to the present invention, the water passing through the fin is The flow of water due to the turbulent flow as described above is not likely to be hindered by the presence of an appropriate number of dents, which constantly and linearly flow.

According to the present invention, when swimming, when water flowing toward the toe from the fin or heel, or both, on the front or back surface or both front and back surfaces of the fin portion during swimming, (0006) As described in), the water is pressed into the depression by the subsequent continuous flow of water, and the water flows linearly toward the toe with the pressure increased and the flow velocity increased, so that the presence of the depression and the foot Due to the movement, the water always flows linearly and continuously, and at the toe, the pressing force of the water by the fin portion can be increased by the flow and discharge of the water passing through the depression, so that it is more than a conventional swimming fin. Can be expected to further increase propulsion.
