Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve purifying action of bathtub water containing impurities to make easy the maintenance and control and also to obtain excellent hot water seftening effect in a circulating hot water bath type combination device equipped with a hot water circulating and purifying means. SOLUTION: Raw water 5 such as city water is passed through an electrolyzer 2 via a filter 6 of adsorptive type of active carbon or the like also using amphibole, and acidic water 3 formed is fed to a bathtub 1 equipped with an automatic pH sensor 10 and a level switch 11. And bathtub water is circulated through a sand filter 9 via an insulating heater 7 and a circulating pump 8. In this case, as the used amphibole, natural ARS amphibole from Tohno city, Iwate Prefecture is particularly preferable, and as for its size, it is used in the shape of powdery particles like the usual filter medium. And on backwashing of the filter 9, automatic valves a, c are closed and b, d are opened and the circulating pump 8 is stopped to cause water to flow and wash out filth or the like and bacteria present and treat it as waste water.

2. Description of the Related Art Heating hot water as a new bath system,
The use of a so-called 24-hour bath (hereinafter, referred to as a circulating hot-bath combination device) that circulates while purifying and allows constant bathing is expanding. In this type of apparatus, it is important to remove impurities, in particular, to control or sterilize water or hot water and to remove solids (dirt) such as lipids and dirt. Conventionally, ultraviolet lamps and simple ozone generators have been mainly used for bacteriostatic / sterilizing, but their sterilizing effect is extremely insufficient. In addition, a porous filter medium having adsorptive power such as activated carbon or a sand filter medium is mainly used for removing solid components, and it is necessary to periodically disassemble the filter and wash the filter medium. This disassembly and cleaning is a heavy burden on the user. In particular, this type of filter medium has a large amount of bacteria, lipids, dirt, etc. attached thereto, so that it is not only difficult to clean the filter medium, but also it is easy to cause problems in hygiene management. Attempts have also been made to give a so-called hot water effect to the bath water using radium ore, ceramic, or the like, but it has not been possible to obtain a sufficient bath water reforming effect.

The amphibole used in the present invention is non-porous and has high hardness, and it is particularly preferable to use what is called natural ARS amphibole from Tono City, Iwate Prefecture. The size of the amphibole is not particularly limited, but is preferably used in the form of a granular material similar to an ordinary filter medium.
Amphibole excels in purifying the bath water and impurities, and by disposing a filter medium filled with this in the circulation system of the bath water, purifies the circulating bath water by a purifying action accompanied by a bacteriostatic action. The solids collected by filtration are easy to separate, and can be easily separated from the filter medium and discarded by back washing. The purified bath water also has excellent hot water characteristics. Amphibole as a filter medium may be used alone or in combination with a well-known filter medium as appropriate. In particular, it is preferably used for a sand filter, and may also be used as a filter medium in an adsorbent filter such as activated carbon. In addition, when combined with a system in which an electrolytic bath is provided and acidic water generated by electrolysis of water is circulated in the bath, the sterilizing and purifying effects become more remarkable. Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The operation of the electrolytic cell to circulate and filter the water can be performed in a relatively short time. For example, 10 minutes to 1 every few hours
It is only necessary to turn off the electrolytic cell and pass circulating water for about 0 hours and other times. The filter medium in the sand filter 9 is composed of amphibole granules and, if desired, inactive stone granules. Backwashing of this filtration machine closes automatic valves a and c, and b,
This is performed by opening d, stopping the circulation pump 8 and flowing water. This backwash is preferably performed once a day, for example, using about 10 to 50 l of water, but the backwash interval and the amount of water can be changed according to the frequency of use of the bathtub. By this back washing, solids such as dirt and fungi that may be present are washed out and treated as waste water. Therefore, regular disassembly and cleaning in a conventional sand filter is not necessary, and the sand filter can be used for a long period of time without complicating the user. 1 in the figure
