Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the relative positional relation constant between an observer and the picture display position of a portable display device by correcting the picture display position based on the displacement per unit time of the display device and that of the head of the observer. SOLUTION: The displacements(Δxwb, Δywb) of the head 2 are added to the picture display position so as to make the picture display position follow the movement of the head 2 of the observer, and the displacements(Δxwa, Δywa) of the portable display device 1 are subtracted from the picture display position. By this the picture display position at a specified time point is determined. Namely, based on the positional displacement(Δxwa, Δywa) and the positional displacement (Δxwb, Δywb), the picture display position displayed on the display device 1 is corrected. By this, the relative position between the head 2 of the observer and the picture display position of the portable display device 1 is not fluctuated to make it easy to watch video pictures.
