である。そして好ましくは船倉内に配置される第2の単
位梯子は船倉の内壁に上下方向に所定の間隔を有する如
くかつ夫々が上下方向に回動可能な如く取付けられた少
なくとも2個の支持アームの先端に軸支される。そして
第1の単位梯子の下端と連結部材の上端とを第1のピン
により連結するとともに前記連結部材の下端と第2の単
位梯子の上端とを第2にピンにより連結しかつ前記第1
のピンと第2のピンの少なくとも一方を長孔に嵌合させ
るようなピン結合構造とする。更に船倉の内壁面に張設
される断熱材でかつ支持アーム取付部に張設された断熱
材に上下方向の溝を形成し、前記支持アームを上方に回
動させることによって第2の単位梯子を前記溝の内部に
格納するよう構成される。かかる構成による冷蔵貨物船
の船倉内梯子によれば船倉の内壁に取付けられた支持ア
ームを上下方向に回動させることにより船倉内梯子を形
成する第2の単位梯子を船倉の内壁側に引き寄せて格納
し又は使用状態にセットすることができその作業時間の
大幅な減少と格納場所の減少を計ることができる。

図1乃至図3においてハッチ5内に支持材7a、7bに
より固定された第1の単位梯子6aの下端にはピン10
aにより連結部材11の上端が連結されこの連結部材1
1はピン10aを中心として矢印a方向へ回動可能にな
っている。そしてこの連結部材11の下端にはピン10
bにより第2の単位梯子6bの上端が連結されている。
具体的には図4及び図5に示すように連結部材11には
上下方向の長孔12が設けられこの長孔に内にピン10
bが嵌合するよう連結されている。即ち後述するように
この第2の単位梯子6bを格納しようとするとき連結部
材11はピン10aを中心として回動するが下部に位置
するピン10bはこのピン10bから連結部材11の長
さLを隔てた仮想点θを中心とした仮想線bに沿って
移動する。このときピン10bは長孔12内を摺動する
こととなるためスムースな格納が可能となるのである。
勿論この長孔12は必要に応じて第2の単位梯子6bの
上端に形成し連結部材11側にピン10bを設けてもよ
く、又は連結部材11の上端と第1の単位梯子6aの下
端を連結するピン10aを同様な機構として構成しても
よい。このようにして上端を連結部材11にピン結合さ
れた第2の単位梯子6bは船倉2の隔壁(内壁)9に上
下方向に回動可能に取付けられた支持アーム13a、1
3bに取付けられている。詳述すればこの支持アーム1
3a、13bは上下方向に所定の間隔を置いて配置され
るとともに断熱材3の上下方向に形成された溝14に設
けられかつ図6及び図7に示されるような夫々隔壁9に
取付けられた支持材7e、7fにピン10c、10dに
より矢印cで示す上下方向に回動可能な如く取付けられ
ている。そしてこの支持アーム13a、13bの先端に
ピン10e、10fにより第2の単位梯子6bが軸支さ
れるよう取付けられている。かかる構成による冷蔵貨物
船の船倉内梯子において今図1に実線で示す使用状態か
ら格納しようとするときは人力又は他の手段により支持
アーム13a、13bを矢印c方向に回動させることに
より点線で示すように第2の単位梯子6bを容易に溝1
4内に格納することができる。そしてこの第2の単位梯
子6bを溝14に格納すると図示しないストッパー機構
を作用させてその格納位置を保持するのである。勿論こ
の梯子6を使用しようとする場合前記と逆の手順により
第2の単位梯子6bを溝14内から引き出してセットす
ることとなる。なお、図1及び図2において15はハッ
チ5の蓋体であり、16は作業者が出入りする場合のガ
イド用の把手であってこの把手16は不要時はハッチ5
内に格納できるように構成されている。
