と、該バックピラーインナの外側に接合したバックピラ
ーレインフォースとで、上下方向に延在する閉断面のバ
ックピラーを形成した構造において、前記バックピラー
レインフォースの下端部に車幅方向中央側に向けて曲折
したエクステンション部を延設し、該エクステンション
部をリヤエンドクロスメンバの外側面に接合して、前記
リヤエンドクロスメンバとリヤエンドパネルとで形成し
た車幅方向の閉断面部内に、これらエクステンション部
とリヤエンドクロスメンバとで、バックピラーの閉断面
部に連なる第2の車幅方向の閉断面部を形成したことを
