Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a door closer function easily to a conventional gate door later on by providing the shaft of a damper mechanism to a lower portion of a door closer, the fitting portion of a lower part of the shaft to the upper portion of a joint member, and a chamber for covering the hinge of a gate post in a lower portion. SOLUTION: A hinge 2 is attached to a gate post, and the main body of a closed is attached to a gate door. A joint portion 3 is provided for coupling a hinge 2 to the main body of closer. A fitting and inserting chamber 31 for fitting to the shaft 21 of the hinge 2 is provided in the joint portion 3, a partially notched hole 32 is formed to permit the insertion and fixation for a supporting shaft 2A of the hinge 2.
