Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member and a bonding method in which a string of a baw is not elongated. SOLUTION: A sleeve 2 knitted in grain knitting is covered on a core material 1 of a string and is bonded to an end of the string in the central direction of the same. As soon as a bonding agent is dried, the sleeve 2 is pulled in an opposite direction and is brought into close contact with the core material 1. When a string circle is formed and the sleeve 2 is used by hooking it on a baw, the sleeve 2 is pulled and hence the string is further tightened into close contact with the core material 1 of the string to prevent it from being exfoliated.

【発明の詳細な説明】この発明は弓の弦が伸びにくく、弦輪が作り易いような
構造にしたものである。従来の弦は弓に懸かる部分の補
強材に弦の心材の上に麻糸や布等を巻いて接着剤で固定
していたので、大変な手数を要していた。それでも、使
用していると弦の心材と補強材が剥離して伸びてきた。
又、弦輪を作る時、接着剤で固定してある為、固くて作
り辛い欠点があった。本発明はこの補強材の部分を石目
編みで編んだスリーブを弦の心材に被せて弦の中心方向
の端を接着するだけで剥離することなく、伸びずに弦輪
を作り易くしたものである。以下それを説明すると、（イ）弦の心材にスリーブを被せ、中心方向の端を接着
