は、その厚さを0.1〜0.5mmの範囲とするのが望
ましい。これらにおいては、これ以上薄くすると均一の
厚さを得るのが困難となり、長期間の使用で合成樹脂ま
たは軟質金属層4の剥れ、亀裂等の虞が生じる。またこ
れ以上厚くすると、スチール本体1の重さに対し、合成
樹脂または軟質金属層4の重量が相対的に大きくなり、
ウエイト調整が難しくなる。したがってバランスウエイ
ト本来の目的である、正確な重量を提供することが困難
