Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a suspending and hanging tool by connecting plural conductive members having a simplified structure and to easily ensure the electrical conductivity of junctures in a liq. tank as well with respect to the suspending and hanging tool which is immersed in an electrophoretic coating liq. tank in a state of suspending a work. SOLUTION: The juncture C, which is immersed in at lest the electrophoretic coating liq. tank among the junctures for connecting plural conductive members, is formed of a conductive cylindrical body having a bottom (cap C2) which is arranged so that a bottom section is located at the upper part and a hollow section is opened downward and a conductive bar member (pin C1) which is inserted into the hollow section and is arranged so that the tip end is pressed to the inside surface of the bottom section. Consequently, the infiltration of water into the hollow section is prevented because an air chamber A is formed in the hollow section even when the juncture C is immersed in the liq. tank. If this is applied to a hanger which is used in electrodeposition coating or electroplating, there is no possibility of the formation of a coating film or plating layer on the junctures, and thus an electrically conductive state is surely maintained.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a hanger for immersing a suspended workpiece in an electrophoretic coating liquid tank, and particularly suitable as a hanger for electrophoretic coating such as electrodeposition coating and electroplating. 2. Description of the Related Art Electrodeposition coating, which is one mode of electrophoretic coating, involves immersing a conductive object to be coated in an electrophoretic coating liquid tank containing a liquid coating material, and interposing an electrode between the object and the electrode. This is a coating method for forming a coating film on the surface of an object to be coated by applying a DC voltage to the object, and is widely used. As the electrodeposition coating, a positive electrode is connected to the object to be coated, an anion electrodeposition coating for depositing a negatively polarized paint on the object to be coated, and a negative electrode is connected to the object to be coated,
BACKGROUND ART Cathodic electrodeposition coating in which a positively polarized paint is deposited on an object to be coated is known. In any of the electrodeposition coatings, a hanging tool that is immersed in a coating liquid tank while the work is suspended,
A so-called hanger is used. Since the hanger is usually made of steel or stainless steel, the paint is electrodeposited on the part immersed in the paint liquid tank in the same manner as the object to be coated. As a result, if a coating film is formed on the surface of the hanger, the conductivity is impaired, and it is necessary to periodically remove the coating film.

For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 148688/1993 discloses a hanging jig for hanging an object to be coated, that is, a hanger.
In order to easily remove the coating film attached during electrodeposition coating,
A hanging jig for electrodeposition coating in which a coating containing nickel and a fluororesin is formed on a blade for supporting an object to be coated has been proposed.
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-140798 discloses that, during the electrodeposition and baking steps, at least a part of a hanger for suspending and supporting an object to be coated and supplying power thereto is immersed in a pressure-sensitive electroconductive bath. An electrodeposition coating method used by coating with a material has been proposed.

Further, as another mode of the electrophoretic coating, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 1-168897 discloses a plating jig for an electroplating rack jig. In order to solve the problem of the necessity of a process, it has been proposed to provide an outer frame portion made of a non-conductive material for making the film thickness uniform on the outer peripheral portion of the conductive portion. Thus, not only in electrodeposition coating but also in electroplating, there is a problem that plating adheres to a hanger immersed in a plating bath.

[0005] These hanging hooks are of various shapes depending on the workpiece to be hung or the electrophoretic coating liquid tank (including the above-mentioned coating liquid tank, plating liquid tank, etc., hereinafter simply referred to as liquid tank). Things are used. For example, FIGS.
Shows a specific example of a conventional hanger for electrodeposition coating, but can also be used for electroplating. The hanger of FIG. 4 has a plurality of blades B for hooking a workpiece W provided on a frame 1 arranged side by side on a plane.

As a countermeasure, for example, a method of dividing the hanging member into a hanging member and a hanging member and appropriately connecting the necessary hanging member to the hanging member can be considered. However, in the configuration in which the connecting portion is formed outside the liquid tank and the hook member side is all of the portion accommodated in the liquid tank, a considerable effect cannot be expected in reducing the size of the hook member side. On the other hand, if the portion accommodated in the liquid tank is divided into a plurality of members and these are connected to each other, replacement and suspension work becomes easy, but as described in the above-mentioned publication, There is a problem in securing conductivity in the part.

As described above, in each of the embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a coating film is not formed at each connection portion C, and an electrical conduction state is maintained. By simply exchanging the intermediate member 20 and the intermediate member 40 before mounting, the hanging hooks of the respective forms can be configured. Therefore, if the hanging member 10 and the hanging member 30 are general-purposed and intermediate members of various shapes are prepared, a hanging hanging tool that can be used for various uses can be configured. In other words, a desired hanging hook can be configured simply by preparing an intermediate member having a desired shape as needed, so that the cost for newly manufacturing and the maintenance cost are significantly higher than in the past. To be reduced. In addition, since the hanging member 30 is small, not only is it lightweight and excellent in operability, but also it is possible to directly handle the hanging member 30 in the process before and after painting, thereby improving work efficiency. In addition, since a large number of works W can be simultaneously mounted on the hanging tool, the working density is improved, and the coating equipment can be effectively used.

Since the present invention is configured as described above, the following effects can be obtained. That is, the hanging tool of the present invention is formed by connecting a plurality of conductive members and connecting at least one of the connecting portions connecting the conductive members to the electrophoretic coating liquid tank. The part is a conductive bottomed cylinder that is arranged so that the bottom is located upward and the hollow is opened downward, and is inserted into the hollow part of the bottomed cylinder and arranged so that the tip abuts on the inner surface of the bottom Even if the connecting portion is immersed in the electrophoretic coating liquid tank, an air chamber is formed in the hollow portion, so that the liquid is prevented from entering the hollow portion. Thus, if the hanging hanger of the present invention is applied to a hanger to be subjected to electrodeposition coating or electroplating, an electrically conductive state is reliably maintained without forming a coating film or a plating layer on the connecting portion. be able to. Moreover, the size of the conductive member for hanging the work is small and light, a large number of works can be mounted at the same time, and good workability can be secured.

In the hanging device according to the second aspect,
A plurality of conductive members, a suspending member that suspends outside the electrophoretic coating liquid tank, a hooking member that locks the work in the electrophoretic coating liquid tank, and the connecting portion in the electrophoretic coating liquid tank. Since it is constituted by an intermediate member connected to the hanging member via the connecting member and connected to the hooking member via the connecting portion, it is possible to prepare various types of hanging members only by preparing an intermediate member having a desired shape as needed.
