Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 要素の列を有する耐火再帰反射性構造体であって、 a)第1の側と第2の側を有する剛体再帰反射性要素の列と、 b)上記剛体再帰反射性要素の列の第1の側に取り付けられた透明ポリマー フィルムと、 c)上記透明ポリマーフィルムに取り付けられた透明耐火ポリマー外層と、 d)上記剛体再帰反射性要素の列の第2の側に取り付けられた難燃層と、 e)上記難燃層に取り付けられた耐火下層 とを備えた耐火再帰反射性構造体。 2. 請求項1において、上記透明ポリマーフィルムが、上記剛体再帰反射性要 素の列および難燃層を通して、上記耐火下層に接合されている再帰反射性構造体 。 3. 請求項2において、上記外層が、架橋されたポリウレタンフィルムを含む 再帰反射性構造体。 4. 請求項3において、上記透明ポリマーフィルムが、ポリビニールフィルム である再帰反射性構造体。 5. 請求項4において、上記ビニールフィルムが、ポリ塩化ビニールである再 帰反射性構造体。 6. 請求項5において、上記ポリ塩化ビニールが、着色剤を含む再帰反射性構 造体。 7. 請求項6において、上記着色剤がライム色である再帰反射性構造体。 8. 請求項7において、上記剛体再帰反射性要素の列が、硬質エポキシポリア クリル、ウレタン、ポリニトリル、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステルまたはポリ オレフィンのいずれかの材料からなる再帰反射性構造体。 9. 請求項8において、上記剛体再帰反射性要素の列は、共重合体からなる再 帰反射性構造体。 10. 請求項9において、上記難燃層が、臭素化された難燃剤を含む再帰反射性 構造体。 11. 請求項10において、上記難燃層が、臭素化された難燃剤と接着剤との混 合体を含む再帰反射性構造体。 12. 請求項10において、上記耐火下層がポリアミドフィルムである再帰反射 性構造体。 13. 請求項10において、上記耐火下層がファイバーグラス強化ビニールフィ ルムである再帰反射性構造体。 14. 請求項1において、真空蒸着された反射層が、上記剛体再帰反射性列の第 2の側に蒸着されているアルミニウム、銅、銀または金のいずれかの金属をもっ て形成されている再帰反射性構造体。 15. 請求項14において、上記真空蒸着された反射層が、接着剤により難燃層 に接合されている再帰反射性構造体。 16. 請求項1において、上記透明ポリマーフィルムと上記剛体再帰反射性要素 の列が、接着剤で接着されている再帰反射性構造体。 17. 請求項1において、上記透明耐火ポリマー外層の表面が、容易にクリーニ ングできる再帰反射性構造体。 18. 請求項1において、水滴を吹き付けられた時も、上記構造体が、その再帰 反射性を十分に維持する再帰反射性構造体。 19.a)第1の側と第2の側を有する剛体再帰反射性要素の列と、 b)上記剛体再帰反射性要素の列の第1の側に取り付けられた透明ポリマー フィルムと、 c)上記透明ポリマーフィルムに取り付けられた透明耐火ポリマー外層と、 d)上記目体再帰反射性要素の列の第2の側に取り付けられた第1の難燃層 と、 e)上記第1の難燃層に取り付けられた第2の難燃層と、 g)上記第2の難燃層に取り付けられた第3の難燃層と、 h)上記第3の難燃層に取り付けられた耐火ポリマー下層 とからなる耐火再帰反射性構造体。 20. 請求項19において、上記第1の難燃層が、ゴム系接着フィルムに含まれ る臭素化難燃剤を含む再帰反射性構造体。 21. 請求項20において、上記第2の難燃層が、ポリ塩化ビニールフィルムの 中にトリクレジルフォスフェートを含む再帰反射性構造体。 22. 請求項21において、上記第3難燃層がゴム系接着フィルムに含まれた臭 素化された難燃剤を含む再帰反射性構造体。 23. 透明ポリマーフィルムおよび第1の側と第2の側をもつ剛体再帰反射性要 素の列をもち、しかも上記透明ポリマーフィルムが、上記剛体再帰反射性要素の 列の第1の側に取り付けられている再帰反射性構造体において、 上記透明ポリマーフィルムに取り付けられた透明耐火ポリマー外層、上記 剛体再帰反射性要素の列の第2の側に取り付けられた難燃層、上記難燃層に取り 付けられた耐火ポリマー下層を含み、これにより、上記透明耐火ポリマー外層、 上記耐火層および上記耐火下層が、上記構造体が少なくとも5分間約500°F (260℃)の温度にさらされた時に、再帰反射性構造体の著しい炭化、溶融お よび着火を充分防止し得ることを特徴とする再帰反射性構造体。 24. 耐火再帰反射性構造体を形成するための方法であって、 a)透明耐火ポリマーフィルムを設ける工程と、 b)透明ポリマーフィルムを上記透明耐火ポリマーフィルムに設ける工程と 、 c)適切な型の中で重合材料を重合させることにより、第1の側と第2の側 をもつ剛性要素の再帰反射性列を形成する工程と、 d)上記再帰反射性列の第1の側を上記透明ポリマー層に設ける工程と、 e)耐火ポリマー下層を設ける工程と、 f)難燃層を上記耐火ポリマー下層に設ける工程と、 g)上記難燃層を上記再帰反射性列の第2の側に取り付け、これにより耐火 再帰反射性構造体を形成する工程 とからなる方法。 25. 請求項24において、上記下層の一部が、上記gの工程の後に、上記透明 ポリマーフィルムに、上記再帰反射性列および上記耐火ポリマー下層を通して接 合される方法。 26. 請求項24において、接着剤のコーティングが、上記工程bとcとの間で 、上記透明ポリマーフィルムに施される方法。 27. 請求項24において、真空蒸着層が、上記工程dとeとの間で、上記再帰 反射性列の第2の側に施される方法。 28. 請求項26において、接着剤が、上記工程fとgとの間で、上記真空蒸着 層に施される方法。
