【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 処理槽を横方向に2室に区画し、前区画
室と後区画室は下部で連通すると共に、前区画室及び後
区画室に浮上性粒状担体を充填し、前区画室で被処理水
の下向流と下部からの散気により有機物の分解と粒子の
除去を行い、後区画室で被処理水の上向流と下部からの
散気により粒子の除去を行ない被処理水を浄化し、その
後逆洗に先立ち被処理水を後区画室より前区画室の上部
へ繰り返し循環させて被処理水を浄化し、逆洗時は処理
槽内の浄化された被処理水を逆洗用の洗浄水として使用
し逆洗することを特徴とする生物濾過方法。

下方に水平に設置され、前区画室に原水供給管及び前区
画室の被処理水を後区画室の上部へ導入する移送手段が
設けられると共に、前区画室の下部に前区画室より処理
槽外へ逆洗に使用した洗浄水の一部を引き抜く排水手段
が設けられ、後区画室に、後区画室の被処理水を前区画
室の上部へ導入する移送手段、及び被処理水を処理槽外
へ放流する流出管、並びに流出水を所定時間原水槽へ一
部返送する返送手段が設けられていることを特徴とする
生物濾過装置。
