Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.集電器、膜の形態であるポリマー固体電解質、ガス分配器リング、及び電流 分配器を構成部品として有した燃料電池であって、全ての構成部品が溶媒に溶解 可能な熱可塑性基本ポリマーからできていること、この基本ポリマーが個々の構 成部品に適して変性されており、上記集電器(1)が電気的に伝導性であり、上 記膜(4)が非導電性であり、上記電流分配器(3)がガス透過性、かつ電気的に 伝導性であり、しかも、上記ガス分配器リング(2)が、非変性及び/又は電気 的に伝導性の基本ポリマーからできていること、及び、これらの構成部品が、シ ール材を用いない結合工程によって結合されていることを特徴とする燃料電池。 2.上記熱可塑性基本ポリマーがホモポリマーであり、上記ホモポリマーが、一 般式I: のポリスルホン類のグループから選ばれた単量体単位から構成されていることを 特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池。 3.上記熱可塑性基本ポリマーがホモポリマーであり、上記ホモポリマーが、一 般式II: のポリエーテルスルホン類のグループから選ばれた単量体単位から構成されてい ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池。 4.上記熱可塑性基本ポリマーがホモポリマーであり、上記ホモポリマーが、一 般式III: のポリエーテルケトン類のグループから選ばれた単量体単位から構成されている ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池。 5.上記熱可塑性基本ポリマーがホモポリマーであり、上記ホモポリマーが、一 般式IV: のポリフェニレンスルフィド類から選ばれた単量体単位から構成されていること を特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池。 6.上記熱可塑性基本ポリマーが、請求項2〜5に記載の単量体単位の共重合体 であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5記載の燃料電池。 7.上記燃料電池が、第1集電器からなる第1半電池と、ガス分配器リングと、 電極膜を経たシールなく、第2電流分配器を含む第2半電池に連結されている電 流分配器と、第2ガス分配器リングと、第2集電器とを含むことを特徴とする請 求項1〜6記載の燃料電池。 8.上記燃料電池が、燃料電池スタックの形態で構成され、両極集電器(1)の 両側にそれぞれ、個々の電池の内部の方向に配置されるようになっており、電流 分配器(3)及びガス分配器リング(2)(部品C)、n個の部品Cがそれぞれ、 膜(4)を経て結合されていること、及び、これらn個の部品Cが、請求項7に 記載の半電池Aによって特徴付けられていること、及び、上記半電池がそれぞれ 、膜(4)を経て上記n個の部品Cと再び結合されており、nが2〜300の範 囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜6記載の燃料電池。 9.上記半電池又は上記構成ユニットCの、上記膜との結合が、シール材(5) を経て行われていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8記載の燃料電池。 10.上記集電器(1)が、それぞれのガス分配器リング(2)と、接着又は溶接に よって結合されており、しかも、分配器ユニット(6)を形成していることを特 徴とする請求項1〜9記載の燃料電池。 11.上記分配器ユニット(6)が、ワンピース構造であり、しかも、熱可塑性ポ リマーを加工するための適切な方法、例えば射出成形やプレスのような方法によ って、電気的に伝導性のある変性ポリマー基本材料から製造されることを特徴と する請求項10記載の燃料電池。 12.上記電流分配器(3)が、上記分配器ユニット(6)と、溶接又は接着によっ て結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜11記載の燃料電池。 13.上記燃料電池の個々の部品が、適切な方法によって加圧下に保たれているこ とを特徴とする請求項1〜12記載の燃料電池。 14.上記の個々の部品が、ネジ込みによって加圧下に保たれていることを特徴と する請求項13記載の燃料電池。
