In order to continue the change of printing and replace the printing roll on the idle side without stopping the traveling of the steel sheet, it is necessary to provide two printing units and switch the printing. Conceivable. However, if you simply switch between the two print rolls to continue printing changes,
If the cutting position of the steel plate does not coincide with the edge of the plate image and the cutting position of the steel plate does not coincide with the edge of the plate image, all printing of the steel plate will fail. Also, if you simply switch between the two print rolls while continuing to change the print, there is a gap between the two print rolls, so there is a part where the prints overlap or a part where the prints do not occur. There is a problem that occurs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the steel plate printing method of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, the configuration of a steel plate printing apparatus using the steel plate printing method of the present invention will be briefly described. In the steel plate printing apparatus, an upstream printing unit including an upstream printing roll 1 and an upstream printing pressure roll 3 and a downstream printing unit including a downstream printing roll 2 and a downstream printing pressure roll 4 are provided in a portal frame 5. It is installed. The upstream printing roll 1 and the downstream printing roll 2 are respectively provided with the slits 5 of the portal frame 5.
It is positioned between the rotation driving side chuck cone 7 and the sandwiching side chuck cone 8 provided at the lower end portions on both sides of the H-shaped lifting frame 6 which is fitted and guided by a. The servomotor 10 is driven to rotate via the speed reducer 10.
The elevating frame 6 is moved up and down by a toggle link 12 that connects a pair of links that are bent and extended by a hydraulic cylinder device 11.
Is extended to make the upstream printing roll 1 and the downstream printing roll 2 closely adhere to the steel plate P, respectively, and when the toggle link 12 is bent, it is raised to the upstream printing roll 1 and The downstream printing rolls 2 are separated from the steel plate P by a small dimension sufficient for roll replacement, for example, 10 mm. The upstream printing roll 1 and the downstream printing roll 2 are provided with a doctor device 13, and the ink flowing down from an ink supply tank 14 provided on the doctor device 13 is connected to the upstream printing roll 1 or the downstream printing roll 2. The contact angle with the doctor device 13 is supplied. An ink tray 15 is provided under the doctor device 13 to receive ink leaking from the tip of the doctor blade when the printing roll is replaced. The upstream side printing pressure roll 3 and the downstream side printing pressure roll 4 are fitted and guided by the slits 5b of the portal frame 5 at the shaft portions 3a, 4a at both ends, and are raised by the hydraulic cylinder device 16 to apply a rolling pressure to the steel plate P. It is like this. The steel plate P is passed over the table roll 17 in a state where the upstream printing roll 1 and the downstream printing roll 2 are raised, and the upstream printing pressure roll 3 and the downstream printing pressure roll 4 are lowered. Has become. An appropriate common dryer D is attached to the downstream side to dry the upper surface of the steel plate P. The hydraulic cylinder device 11 that bends and extends the toggle link 12 is a double-acting type, and a switching valve (not shown) that hydraulically controls the hydraulic cylinder device 11 is controlled by a control signal output from a controller (not shown). Instead of the toggle link 12, a disc eccentric cam may be used to move the elevating frame 6 up and down. When the printing of the steel plate P is started,
A line mark is attached to the upstream printing roll 1 and the downstream printing roll 2 at the edge of the plate image at the time of plate making, and a mark sensor (not shown) for detecting the line mark is provided near the rotary drive side chuck cone 7. To be done. The above controller inputs the detection signal of the mark sensor and the information of the planned cutting line of the steel plate P in the final process of the line to continue the change of printing to the driver (not shown) of the servo motor 10 for the printing rolls 1 and 2. A necessary control signal is sent so that the edge of the plate image coincides with the planned cutting line of the steel plate P. The controller controls the hydraulic cylinder devices 11 and 16 and the servomotor 10 as necessary to continue the change of printing, and when the printing is switched from the upstream printing roll 1 to the downstream printing roll 2 or vice versa. In any case, it is programmed so that the printing end point that has been printed up to now and the printing start point where printing will start from now match the planned cutting line of the steel plate P.

Next, the operation of the steel plate printing apparatus having the above-described structure will be described, together with an embodiment of the steel plate printing method of the present invention. First, as the steel plate P, one having a printable flexible film having a thickness of about 20 μm formed on the front and back is used. The flexible film is formed as a pre-process of printing in line printing. Two units of printing roll and impression roll (1 and 3
Alternatively, the steel plate P is passed over the table roll 17 in a state where 2 and 4) are vertically separated from each other, and one of
After the upstream printing roll 1 is lowered and comes into contact with the steel plate P,
The upstream printing pressure roll 3 rises and comes into contact with the steel plate P to apply printing pressure. In this case, the edge of the plate image of the upstream printing roll 1 is aligned with the planned cutting line of the steel plate P. On the other hand, the downstream printing pressure roll 4 rises to contact and support the steel plate P so as not to apply any printing pressure. When the line is operated in this state, the servomotor 10 that drives the upstream printing roll 1 performs synchronous rotation driving so that the peripheral speed of the upstream printing roll 1 becomes the same as the traveling speed of the steel sheet P. To do. When the printing of the steel sheet P is started, it is not possible to give the upstream side printing roll 1 a relative speed with respect to the steel sheet P, and the deviation between the edge of the plate image of the upstream side printing roll 1 and the planned cutting line of the plate is not a problem. However, if the deviation occurs, for example, by 0.5 mm, the print image is read and the cutting cut line is corrected by the cutting device in the final process of the line.

Thus, when the printing of the steel sheet P is switched from the upstream printing roll 1 to the downstream printing roll 2, the downstream printing roll 2 is switched before the required time, for example, one minute. The plate is rotated synchronously so as to be the same speed as the traveling speed of the steel plate P, and the plate image is made to stand by in phase so that the edge of the plate image matches the planned cutting line of the steel plate P. At the moment when the edge coincides with the planned cutting line of the steel plate P, the upstream printing pressure roll 3 is lowered by about 2 mm to release the printing pressure (holding pressure) on the steel plate P and at the same time the upstream printing roll 1 is separated from the steel plate P. Then, the printing is stopped, the downstream side printing roll 2 is brought into contact with the steel plate P by being brought into contact with the steel plate P while being aligned with the currently printed printing end, and the downstream side printing roll 4 is raised by about 2 mm to sandwich the steel plate P. Press to apply printing pressure (clamping pressure) to print The change continue. After the printing, the upstream printing roll 1 is unchucked and removed.

Subsequently, when the printing of the steel sheet P is switched from the downstream printing roll 2 to the upstream printing roll 1 after the printing by the downstream printing roll 2 is completed, a new plate-making upstream is made before the required time at the switching time. Both ends of the side printing roll 1 are chucked to a pair of chuck cones of the upstream unit to set the doctor device 13, and the ink is dripped on the doctor and rotated so that the ink adheres to the entire surface of the upstream printing roll 1. Then, they are synchronously rotated so as to have the same speed as the traveling speed of the steel plate P, and are placed in a standby state in phase so that the edge of the plate image coincides with the planned cutting line of the steel plate P.
This waiting work is completed at least one minute before the switching time. Immediately before the downstream printing roll 2 coincides with the planned cutting line of the steel sheet P and is separated from the printing plate, the upstream printing roll 1 descends in conformity with the planned cutting line of the steel plate P.
At the same time as the contact with the sheet, the upstream side printing pressure roll 3 is raised by about 2 mm to clamp the steel plate P to give a printing pressure (clamping pressure) to continue changing the printing, and to match the planned cutting line to print on the downstream side. At the same time as the pressure roll 4 is lowered by about 2 mm to release the printing pressure, the downstream printing roll 2 is separated from the steel plate P and printing is stopped. After printing, the downstream printing roll 2 is dechucked and removed.

1. A method of printing a steel sheet, wherein a steel sheet having a printable film formed on its surface is passed between a printing roll and a printing pressure roll to perform printing, and two printing units for the printing roll and the printing pressure roll are provided. In this method, the printing unit is switched by changing the printing unit to continuously change the printing without stopping the traveling of the steel sheet and replacing the printing roll on the idle side. When switching from the downstream printing roll to the downstream printing roll, before the switching time, the downstream printing roll is synchronously rotated so as to have the same speed as the traveling speed of the steel plate, and the end of the plate image is the planned cutting line of the steel plate. To match the phase and wait, the upstream printing roll is aligned with the planned cutting line of the steel plate and is separated from the steel plate to stop printing, and the downstream printing roll is actually printed. When printing is started by making contact with the steel plate in line with the planned cutting line at the end of printing, and when switching the printing of the steel plate from the downstream printing roll to the upstream printing roll, the time required before the switching time In addition, the upstream printing roll is synchronously rotated so as to be the same speed as the traveling speed of the steel sheet, and is put in a phase standby state so that the edge of the plate image matches the planned cutting line of the steel sheet, and the upstream printing roll is While the roll is in contact with the steel plate to start printing while the downstream printing roll is separated from the steel plate and the time required before printing is stopped, the downstream printing roll is set to the steel plate. A method for printing a steel sheet, characterized in that the printing is stopped by being aligned with a planned cutting line of a printing start point printed by the upstream printing roll of (1) and separated from the steel sheet.
