Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance a wearing feeling of a simple mask by bonding upper edges, lower edges, or vertical parts of a mask in the vicinity of a folded edge when the mask is double-folded so as to form a space part in front of a mouth when the mask is worn. CONSTITUTION: A space part 3 wherein a surface opposing to a mouth is protruded outward is formed in a simple mask. Thermal fusing is applied along a folded back edge 1 when the mask is double-folded to form a circular arc-shape bonding line 2 and an unnecessary part is cut off so as to form the space part 3, and the space part 3 is prevented from becoming bulky when the mask is double-folded. At the time of wearing, an upper edge of the space part 3 is brought into contact with a nose of a user, a lower edge thereof is brought into contact with a lower chin, thus preventing a mask face opposing to the mouth from pressing the nose and mouth. The bonding line 2 due to thermal fusion serves as a bridge for lifting up the mask.
