A skin patch is required to be hard to peel off when applied to the skin, and it is required that it does not cause discomfort, but if the adhesive strength of the adhesive is increased to make it hard to peel off, irritation to the skin becomes stronger, and when it is peeled off. It is effective to set the adhesive strength to a low level so that the support has the flexibility to follow the movement of the skin, because the pain will be felt as it is forcibly removed.

Further, in a patch containing a volatile drug such as nitroglycerin, salicylic acid ester, menthol, the drug volatilizes through the support during application, and the drug contained is no longer effectively used. It is desirable that the drug does not permeate or volatilize.

As a result of various researches by the inventors on a support which is flexible and does not adsorb or permeate a volatile drug, a polyethylene terephthalate sheet has a volatile property such as nitroglycerin. It has been found that it has a very good barrier property to drugs. However, this polyethylene terephthalate sheet has a hard feeling and is poor in flexibility capable of following the movement of the skin, but by laminating the polyethylene terephthalate sheet and the polyolefin sheet, the above-mentioned desired one is obtained. It was found that

The present invention is based on the above findings and is formed by laminating a polyethylene terephthalate layer, a polyolefin layer, and an adhesive layer containing a volatile drug.

Examples will be described below. It is preferable that the polyethylene terephthalate layer has a thickness of at least about 3 μm or more. If the polyethylene terephthalate layer is too thick, the polyethylene terephthalate layer becomes stiff and less conformable to the skin, so about 40 μm or less is preferable. Many, preferably 3 to 30 μ. A polyolefin layer such as polyethylene or polypropylene is laminated and integrated on this layer, and the polyolefin layer is usually about 3 to 80 μm, and preferably
The thickness should be 10 to 30μ, and when the polyethylene terephthalate layer is relatively thick, adjust by adjusting the polyolefin layer to be thin, and the overall thickness is usually about 6 to 120μ.
The degree is preferably about 14 to 50 μ. When the polyethylene terephthalate layer and the polyolefin layer are appropriately laminated to form a multi-layered structure, the thickness of the entire layer should be within the above range. In the figure, the polyethylene terephthalate layer (1) has a thickness of 25 μ, and the polyolefin layer (2) has a thickness of 25 μ using high-density blended polyethylene. This laminated sheet is usually formed by a laminating method, but it can be laminated by any other appropriate method.

A primer layer is appropriately formed on the support (3) as needed, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (4) containing nitroglycerin, salicylate, menthol and other volatile agents is formed thereon. In the illustrated example, the adhesive layer is formed on the polyolefin side of the support, but it may be formed on the opposite side. It is advisable to cover the adhesive of this patch (5) with a release paper (6) as appropriate, and store it in a bag such as an aluminum laminate bag in which the chemical does not volatilize.

As the polyolefin, low density, high density, stretched, unstretched, blended and various other materials can be used, taking into consideration the drug to be carried, the site to be stuck, the sticking time, etc. The type, combination, thickness, etc. are determined.

As shown in FIG. 2, a 6μ polyethylene terephthalate layer (8) has a 20μ high-density blended polyethylene layer (9) on one side and a 10μ unstretched polypropylene layer (1) on the other side.
0) and three layers, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (4) containing a volatile drug is provided on the polypropylene layer (10) of the support (11). It is also possible to form an adhesive layer on the () side. In the illustrated example, the drug is mixed in the adhesive, but it is also possible to apply the drug in a paste form or the like on a support and cover it with the adhesive.

(Test method) An adhesive containing 1.1 mg of nitroglycerin per cm 3 was applied to the following 4 types of sheets to a thickness of 40μ, and covered with silicone-coated release paper, which was then placed in a 37 ° C constant temperature bath. After 24 hours, the volatilization amount of nitroglycerin was measured to obtain the volatilization rate.

(Discussion) Even though the polyethylene terephthalate sheet is thin, the volatilization of nitroglycerin is sufficiently prevented, but even if the polyethylene-based film is thick, nitroglycerin is volatilized.

With this product, if the release paper is appropriately peeled off and applied to the skin, the drug is surely administered transdermally, and the support does not volatilize the volatile drug and does not adsorb it. There is no loss and efficient administration is possible. In addition, since this patch is highly flexible, it can conform to the skin and adapt to the movement of the skin, and it is less likely to come off or feel uncomfortable. Since a low pressure-sensitive adhesive can be used, it can be easily peeled off after use and is less painful.
