Abstract
Description
Claims (31)
- 1.包装最終用途のための被膜の形成に適した熱硬化性組成物を第1基体に塗布 することを含む、包装最終用途のための金属基体のコーティング方法であって、 該熱硬化性組成物が実質的に溶媒を含まず、該組成物が溶融(可塑化を含む)形 で押出しコーティングダイを通しての基体上への押出しによって熱硬化性フィル ムとして塗布され、該基体上の連続的な部分が該熱硬化性組成物によってフィル ムを形成して被覆されるように、該ダイと該基体との間に相対的な運動があり、 該第1基体が包装最終用途のための金属基体であるか又は一時的な中間サポート であり、該中間サポートから塗布された被膜が包装最終用途のために金属基体上 に移され、該塗布被膜が該押出しコーティングダイを通しての押出し後に熱硬化 される前記コーティング方法。
- 2.硬化後の該塗布被膜の厚さが30ミクロン以下、有利には25ミクロン来滿 、好ましくは20ミクロン未満、例えば18、16、14、12又は10ミクロ ン未満であり、特に2〜10ミクロンの範囲内、例えば4、6若しくは8〜10 ミクロンの範囲内である請求項1記載の方法。
- 3.該基体の厚さが0.05〜3mmの範囲内、有利には0.05〜2mmの範 囲内、特に0.1〜0.4mmの範囲内である請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 4.成分のいずれかの製造に起因する、コーティング組成物の残留溶媒含量が5 重量%を越えない、好ましくは4重量%又は3重量%を越えない、特に2重量% を越えない請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 5.該コーティング組成物が本明細書に述べる系(1)〜(7)の1種以上を含 む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 6.該コーティング組成物を塗布する前に金属基体を50〜250℃、好ましく は70〜200℃、例えば100〜200℃の範囲内の温度に加熱する請求項1 〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 7.押出しコーティングダイの温度が50〜200℃、好ましくは80〜180 ℃、有利には少なくとも100℃、例えば120〜180℃の範囲内である請求 項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 8.押出しコーティングダイの温度がTg+10℃からTg+200℃まで、特 にTg+25℃からTg+150℃までの範囲内であり、この場合にTgが未硬 化組成物のガラス転移温度である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 9.基体への塗布直前の溶融組成物の温度が50〜200℃、好ましくは80〜 180℃、有利には少なくとも100℃、例えば120〜180℃の範囲内であ る請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 10.基体への塗布直前の溶融組成物の温度がTg+10℃からTg+200℃ まで、特にTg+25℃からTg+150℃までの範囲内であり、この場合にT gが未硬化組成物のガラス転移温度である請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の 方法。
- 11.ダイと基体との間の相対的運動の速度が1〜300m/分、有利には5〜 200m/分、例えば10〜150m/分、特に少なくとも50m/分の範囲内 である請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 12.基体表面と押出しコーティングダイの出口との間の距離が2〜150ミク ロン、有利には2〜100ミクロン、好ましくは2〜50ミクロン、特に2〜3 0ミクロンの範囲内である請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 13.押出しコーティングダイの出口間隙幅が50若しくは100ミクロンから 1500若しくは3000ミクロンまでの範囲内、例えば400〜1000ミク ロンである請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 14.塗布の時点におけるコーティング組成物の粘度が1000ポアズを越えな い、有利には500ポアズを越えない、好ましくは100ポアズを越えない、特 に50ポアズを越えない請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 15.塗布温度における物質の滞留時間が15分間を越えない、例えば10若し くは5分間を越えない、又は200若しくは100秒間を越えない、又は60秒 間を越えない、例えば30、20若しくは10秒間を越えない請求項1〜14の いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 16.押出しフィルムの塗布の時点においてバッキングローラーを横切って又は このローラーの周囲を基体が通過する請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方 法。
- 17.包装最終用途のための金属基体の塗布に用いるための無溶媒熱硬化性組成 物。
- 18.粉末被覆方法以外の塗布方法による金属基体の被覆に用いるための請求項 17記載の組成物。
- 19.未硬化状態で、40℃未満、好ましくは35℃以下、特に30℃以下、例 えば5℃未満又は0℃未満のTgを有する請求項18記載の組成物。
- 20.未硬化状態で、70℃を越える、特に85℃を越える、特に90℃以上の Tgを有する請求項18記載の組成物。
- 21.少なくとも1種の縮合反応によって硬化して、揮発性副生成物を生ずる請 求項18〜20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 22.硬化後に、30ミクロン以下、有利には25ミクロン未満、好ましくは2 0ミクロン未満、例えば18、16、14、12又は10ミクロン未満であり、 特に2〜10ミクロンの範囲内、例えば4、6若しくは8〜10ミクロンの範囲 内の厚さを有する被膜を、包装最終用途のための金属基体に塗布することに用い るための請求項17〜21のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 23.請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって、包装最終用途のた めの金属基体の被覆に用いるための請求項17〜22のいずれか1項に記載の組 成物。
- 24.下記要素: (i)1種以上のレゾールフェノール樹脂と組合せた、エポキシ樹脂、又はエポ キシノボラック樹脂; (ii)1種以上のフェノール樹脂及び/又はアミノプラスト樹脂と組合せた、 ポリエステル樹脂; (iii)1種以上の有機無水物又は無水物オリゴマーと組合せたエポキシ樹脂 ;(iv)高固形分、酸官能性アクリルポリマーと組合せたエポキシ樹脂;(v )ブロックトイソシアネート及び/又はアミノプラスト樹脂と組合せたヒドロキ シ官能性ポリエステル。 (vi)好ましくは、レゾールフェノール樹脂、アミノプラスト樹脂、液体若し くは固体のエポキシ樹脂、又はエポキシ−ノボラック樹脂から選択された、1種 以上の硬化剤と組合せた架橋可能な、熱硬化性アクリル樹脂に基づくエマルジョ ンポリマー; (vii)自己架橋性熱硬化性樹脂に基づくエマルジョンポリマー;又は(vi ii)ジシアンジアミドと組合せた、又はエポキシ若しくはエポキシノボラック 樹脂、フェノール樹脂若しくはアミノプラスト樹脂と組合せた、酸官能性の線状 又は分枝ポリエステル から選択される熱硬化性系を含む請求項17〜23のいずれか1項に記載の組成 物。
- 25.非顔料入りである請求項17〜24のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 26.単一のフィルム形成樹脂と、適切な、1種以上の対応硬化剤とを含む請求 項17〜25のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 27.単一の自己架橋性フィルム形成樹脂を含む請求項17〜25のいずれかに 記載の組成物。
- 28.硬化後に20ミクロン未満、例えば18、16、14、12又は10ミク ロン未満であり、特に2〜10ミクロンの範囲内、例えば4、6若しくは8〜1 0ミクロンの範囲内の厚さを有する被膜を、包装最終用途のための金属基体に塗 布することに用いるための請求項25〜27のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 29.エチレン系不飽和反応性基を実質的に含まない請求項17〜28のいずれ か1項に記載の組成物。
- 30.請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得られる場合に又は 請求項17〜29のいずれか1項に記載の組成物によって被覆する場合に、特に 食品又は飲料の包装に用いるための被覆金属基体。
- 31.請求項30記載の被覆金属基体から完全に又は部分的に形成される、特に 食品若しくは飲料用の包装容器又はこのような容器の構成要素若しくはクロージ ャー。
