Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate friction between the surface of a seat back and both of a sitting person's shoulder blades, and lessen fatigue by forming the seat back so as to set back the surface behind the shoulder blades from the surface supporting a body between the blades. CONSTITUTION:A seat 1 consists of a seat cushion 2 as seat surface, a seat back 3 formed behind the cushion 2 for supporting a back and a headrest 4 for supporting a head. Also, the seat back 3 is made of sections 3a, 3b and 3c forming the upper section of the seat back 3 for supporting a sitting person on the back of his/her shoulder blades, a section 3d forming the lower section of the seat back 3 for supporting the person on the back of his/her lumbar, and sideboard sections 3e and 3f. In this case, both shoulder blade escape sections 3b and 3c are formed, so as to be set back from the section 3a. As a result, the sitting person is supported with the section 3b. Also, the section of both shoulder blades is off the surface of the seat back 3. According to this construction, the person's fatigue can be lessened.

In the structure of the seat back 13 described above, the surface shape of the scapula support portion 13a related to the present invention is formed to be substantially flat in the vertical direction, and the seat back 13 is curved backward at the upper portion thereof. Is formed so as to be continuous with the upper surface of the above, and is connected to the lumbar support 13b at the lower part. In the horizontal direction, the central part is formed to be substantially flat, and the left and right side support parts 13c and 13d are formed.
It is formed so as to curve slightly forward (on the seating side) as it gets closer to the side support parts 13c and 13d. Scapula support 13a for seat cushion 12
The surface angle is set so as to be slightly more raised than the surface angle of the lumbar spine support portion 13b so that the posture above the chest approaches vertically.

The conventional scapula supporting portion 13a formed as described above has the following drawbacks in view of the influence on the sitting posture. FIG. 5 shows a state in which the seated person leans against the seat back 13, and is a YY end view in FIG. 4, showing a horizontal cross section at the position of the shoulder blade of the seated person. The alternate long and short dash line M in the figure indicates the contour of the seated person. In the same figure, since both scapula M1 and M2 of the seated person project posterior to the space between both scapula M3, the portions of both scapula M1 and M2 contact and are supported by the scapula support portion 13a. As a result, the movement of both shoulder blades M1 and M2 is obstructed by friction with the shoulder blade support portion 13a, and the freedom of movement of the arm is lost, which causes a feeling of restraint and fatigue.

On the other hand, the scapula supporting portion 13a has the following drawbacks when viewed from the longitudinal center cross section of the seat back 13. In Figure 7, the seated person is seatback 13
4 shows a state of leaning on the seat, and is a longitudinal center end view of the seat 11 in FIG. 4, showing a cross section along the spine of the seated person. The alternate long and short dash line M in the figure indicates the contour of the seated person. In the figure, since the scapula supporting portion 13a supports the portion of the scapula M2 of the seated person which is protruding rearward, the portion of the thoracic vertebra M6 between both scapulas is separated from the scapular supporting portion 13a. Is in a state. Therefore, the thoracic vertebra M6 is in an unstable state in which its position changes due to the movement of both shoulder blades. The weight of the upper body of the seated person is supported by the spinal column, but if the support state of the thoracic vertebra M6 that constitutes the upper part of the occupant is unstable, the spinal column tends to bend, which causes the posture of the lower lumbar spine M8 to change. It also affected and caused the back pain as described below.

As shown in FIG. 7, a morphological gap is likely to occur behind the thoracic vertebra M6 located below the scapula M2,
The part of the thoracic vertebra M6 retreats and is easily bent. FIG. 8 shows the bent state, in which the part of the thoracic vertebra M7 corresponding to the lower part of the thoracic vertebra M6 is retracted and the seat back 1 is moved.
3 shows a state of being supported by No. 3. When the portion of the thoracic vertebra M7 begins to bend, a buckling force is generated due to the weight applied to the portion, and the buckling force further presses the seatback 13 surface to retreat to increase the bending. The bend affects the lumbar vertebra M8, and the lumbar vertebra M8 is bent in the direction opposite to the ideal direction, which increases the load on the lumbar vertebra M8. In addition, when the buckling force is generated, the supporting force of the buckling force also increases, so that the lumbar region moves forward and the lumbar vertebra M8 is further bent.

FIG. 2 shows a state in which the seated person leans against the seat back 3, and is an end view taken along line XX in FIG. 1, showing a horizontal cross section at the position of the seated person's scapula.
The alternate long and short dash line M in the figure indicates the contour of the seated person. In the figure, since both scapula relief parts 3b and 3c are formed to be retracted from the interscapular support part 3a, the seated person is supported by the interscapular support part 3a, and both shoulder blades M1 and M2 are supported.
The part is separated from the seat back 3 surface.
Therefore, there is no friction between the shoulder blades M1 and M2 and the seat back 3 surface, the arm can be moved lightly, and fatigue can be reduced. Further, when the space between the scapulas is supported, a retracting force acts on both scapulas M1 and M2, so that the chest can be widened and a comfortable posture can be obtained.

On the other hand, FIG. 3 is a longitudinal center end view of the seat 1 in FIG. 1 and shows a cross section along the spine of a seated person.
The alternate long and short dash line M in the figure indicates the contour of the seated person. In the figure, since the interscapular support part 3a directly supports the part of the thoracic spine M6, the spinal column can be stabilized in a predetermined shape unlike the conventional case. Therefore, buckling of the spinal column is less likely to occur, and back pain and fatigue can be reduced.

The interscapular support part 3a is a lumbar support part 3d.
Is formed so as to be continuous in plane, and both are supported so that the spine of a seated person has a predetermined posture. Seat back 3
A two-dot chain line S shown in the center of the figure indicates the surface shape. The shape will be described with reference to FIG. 3. There are curved peaks at the portion supporting the position behind the pelvis shown by the symbol P1 and the portion supporting the position behind the stomach shown by the symbol P2.
The constituent surface between the two forms a receding curved surface, and the receding amount is about 5 to 15 mm. The interscapular support portion 3a also forms a slightly receding curved surface, and the receding amount is represented by the symbol P1.
Is about 2 to 7 mm as measured from the extension of the straight line connecting the vertices indicated by the symbol P2. The interscapular support part 3a is connected to the surface indicated by the symbol P2 in the lower part thereof, and in the upper part, in order to raise and support the upper half of the body slightly, measure from an extension line of a straight line connecting the vertices indicated by the symbols P1 and P2. The position is set to be about 5 to 15 mm on the seating side.

Since the upper part of the shoulder blades is narrow and the lower part of the shoulder blades is wide, the width of the interscapular support portion 3a is accordingly 10 to 10.
It will be about 14 cm. It is appropriate that the step between the interscapular support part 3a and the scapula relief parts 3b and 3c is about 1 to 3 cm.
The step shown in FIG. 2 shows an example of a size in which a gap is formed behind both shoulder blades M1 and M2, but the supporting force applied to both shoulder blades M1 and M2 can be reduced even if there is no gap. However, some of the objects of the present invention can be achieved. The step is formed by molding a sponge which is a cushioning material inside the seat back 3, and the surface thereof is covered with a covering material such as woven fabric or leather. It is necessary to consider the hardness of the sponge and the installation of a support plate so that the sponge will not be crushed and the step will not disappear when a supporting force acts on the interscapular support part 3a.
